Why Are My Skullcandy Earbuds Not Charging?
A common issue with earbuds that can be damaged is default charging. It can happen to either one or both of your earbuds. If the charging case doesn’t have a red indicator light when you insert your earbuds, it means that your earbuds don’t charge.
Your earbuds might not close properly, too. The problem could be caused by debris blocking the charging pins. Other cases might result in the earbuds not being seated on the case.

First, turn off your earbuds. Next, press the Volume and power buttons simultaneously for five seconds. This will reset your paired devices. After removing all connected devices, turn on the earbuds.
Here are some steps to follow if one of you is working alone.
- Take the Bluetooth device list off the earbuds
- Place the earbuds inside the charging case
- Turn off Bluetooth
- Take your left earbuds out of the case
- Tap the middle button until you see a red light on your earbuds
- Recover the earbuds from the case
You can repeat the same steps for the other earbud. Place both earbuds in your ear. If the pairing is successful, both earbuds should beep. Bluetooth can be turned back on your smartphone, tablet, or laptop smartwatch. Pair your device by selecting the Bluetooth list earbuds that you have selected.

- Turn off Bluetooth on your connected device (Phone or laptop, tablet, etc.)
- Turn on your earbuds (since your Bluetooth is off, your earbuds won’t be paired).

- Close the lid and place your earbuds in the case.
- Now your earbuds can be paired together
- You will hear a beep to let you know that the earbuds are paired.
- Start the pairing process by turning Bluetooth back on.
After your device has been paired, both earbuds should now be working.
Solutions For Skullcandy Headphones Not Pairing

When pairing, ensure devices are not too far apart
Soft reset both your devices. Simply turn off the devices to get rid of bugs, and then reconnect them.
Unpair any device previously paired with your device. If your Bluetooth speakers have been paired to your current device, it is likely that your device is trying to find a connection to that device. This issue can be resolved by either unpairing the device or turning it off.
Take your headphones out of your device. If your Bluetooth list shows your headphones but you are unable to pair them, then remove your headphones or “forget” them from your Bluetooth list. Then you can rediscover your headphones.
Disconnect from interfering devices: Devices such as microwaves and routers with sub 3.0 ports can interfere and disrupt the pairing process. A successful connection can be achieved by simply moving away from such devices.
